The Core Shed
All the comforts of a state-of-the-art core shed in a compact and portable size. Our core shed, housed in an 8’ x 20’ converted shipping container, features all of the necessary components that a productive and organized core shed needs. Double doors on both ends of the shed allow for air flow and easy core loading access on to the ergonomic roller tables. Shelving above and below the benches provides ample space for storage of tools, materials, and core. A built in water sprayer system is attached to the center of the ceiling on a coiled hose, allowing you to reach both ends of the tables with ease. Water is available in one of two ways, either through the pump in the 26 gallon water tank below the bench, or through a direct hose connection on the outside of the shed. Two rows of LED lights illuminate the space, and two double power outlets are provided for all your charging needs.
The Cut Shed
Outfitted with a 5 horsepower Pothier core saw, roller tables, and a 250 volt/50 amp service, this 8’ x 20’ converted shipping container is built for efficiency. This unit provides for a separate area, outside of the logging shed, which confines the noise, water, dirt and dust created when cutting core. It also provides a sheltered space for a core cutter, out of the elements, with a well-organized and ergonomic interior that will increase the comfort and production of cutting core. Double doors at both ends of the shed provide the option for air flow while maintaining the ability to close for noise dampening.
